Mount Baldy or Mount Baldy Village, formerly Camp Baynham and Camp Baldy, is an unincorporated community in the San Gabriel Mountains located in San Bernardino County and Los Angeles County in Southern California, with the county line running through the community. It is located below Mount San Antonio, commonly known as Mount Baldy, hence its name.

Giant Rock is a large freestanding boulder in the Mojave Desert near Landers, California, and the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms. The boulder covers 5,800 square feet (540 m2) of ground and is seven stories high (approximately 30 metres or 98 feet).

It is the largest county in the contiguous United States by area, covering approximately 20,105 square miles, and has a population of around 2.1 million people. The county is situated east of Los Angeles County and is part of the Greater Los Angeles area.

Silverwood Lake is a large reservoir in San Bernardino County, California. It was created in 1971 as part of the State Water Project by the construction of the Cedar Springs Dam as a forebay on the 444 mi (715 km) long California Aqueduct, and has a capacity of 73,000 acreâ‹…ft (90,000,000 m3).

San Gorgonio Mountain is the highest peak in Southern California and the Transverse Ranges at 11,503 feet (3,506 m). It lies within the San Gorgonio Wilderness, part of the Sand to Snow National Monument.

The Providence Mountains State Recreation Area is located in the Providence Mountains, within the Mojave National Preserve in San Bernardino County, California. It is also home to the Mitchell Caverns Natural Preserve which are natural wonders and the only limestone caves in the state park system.
