Cô Tô is a small rural district of Quảng Ninh province in the northeastern region of Vietnam. As of 2009, the district had a population of 4,985, which is the lowest-population district in Quảng Ninh. The district covers an area of 47.3 km². The district capital lies at Cô Tô.
Dao Tuan Chau is an island inhabited on the Ha Long bay and 2 km from the mainland. Previously the resort island was avacation place for senior state officials. Now it has become amodern and luxury resort for tourists.
