Nyungwe Forest National Park is a protected area located in southwestern Rwanda. It is one of the most biologically diverse and ecologically significant places in East Africa. Nyungwe Forest National Park is situated in the southwestern part of Rwanda, near the border with Burundi to the south and Lake Kivu to the west. It covers an area of approximately 970 square kilometers (375 square miles).
Volcanoes National Park is a renowned national park located in the northwest of Rwanda. The park is part of the larger Virunga Conservation Area, which includes adjacent parks in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is most famous for its population of mountain gorillas, making it a popular destination for gorilla trekking, a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife experience.
