The Arch of Marcus Aurelius is an ancient Roman triumphal arch located in Tripoli, Libya. This well-preserved monument, constructed in AD 165, was dedicated to the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius and his co-emperor Lucius Verus to commemorate their victories over the Parthians and other military campaigns in the East.
- Design: It features four facades, forming a tetrapylon—a type of structure that has four gateways. Each of these facades is intricately decorated with reliefs showing scenes of Roman military success and mythological figures.

- Sculpture: The decorative details include depictions of victories, Mars (the Roman god of war), and other deities symbolizing Roman power and dominance.

Though time has taken its toll on the monument, especially due to natural weathering, the Arch of Marcus Aurelius remains a significant cultural and historical site, showcasing the Roman influence in North Africa.
