Anchor Bay Campground is a small, six-acre privately-owned campground located right on the Pacific Ocean along Mendocino County’s scenic Highway One. Situated in a narrow gulch filled with native redwood trees, ferns, and coastal flora, it opens into a secluded 1/2-mile-long beach know as Anchor Bay Beach.
About a 3-hour drive from San Francisco, the campground is a very popular location and is often filled on weekends, during the summer season, and on holidays. Even when it’s busy, it’s always quiet, peaceful, and family-oriented. The close-knit, respectful community promotes a warm, relaxed, and friendly stay for all the guests.

Anchor Bay Campground is also a favorite spot for fishermen, beach combers, divers, and ocean enthusiasts. There are many wonderful opportunities to explore marine life during low tide.
