It is made entirely of wood, with no nails or metal fastenings, using an ancient technique called "interlocking log construction". This technique involves cutting the logs in a way that allows them to fit tightly together without the need for nails or screws. The cathedral has been used for various purposes over the years, including as a museum, a cinema, and a concert hall.
