| At Black Rooster Taqueria our mission is to create a place where delicious food is swiftly served and enjoyed by people with a passion for art, sustainability and real ingredients. Husband and wife team, John and Juliana Calloway have dreamt about the Farm to Taco concept for years and are thrilled to have Black Rooster be part of the Mills50 District community. Chef John Calloway's modern take on Mexican cuisine* is a culinary celebration of the country's culture and history. Every dish is a twist on Latin flavor and made from the highest quality ingredients he can get his hands on. Alongside John, Ryder Calloway, (three years old, respectively) the restaurant's "Chief Tasting Officer" has hand picked some of the restaurant's art as well helped in the creation of a few recipes. The restaurant's vibrancy is felt in both the menu and the décor. The colorful and authentic Day of the Dead themed atmosphere is highlighted with artwork from local artists, pre-loved refurbished furniture collected from the Central Florida area, and handmade tables by Chef John. | |
