Owensboro is a city located in the western part of the state of Kentucky. It is the fourth-largest city in Kentucky by population and serves as the county seat of Daviess County. The 2020 census had its population at 60,183. Owensboro is located approximately 32 miles southwest of Evansville, Indiana, and is situated in the tri-state area, where the states of Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois meet.
