Since 1983, Butler Winery has been producing award winning wines from Indiana grown grapes. Butler Winery and Vineyards showcases the terroir and unique flavors that Southern Indiana has to offer. Featuring a spectacular 75-foot high limestone bluff and gnarled red cedars clinging to cliff sides, Cedar Bluff Nature Preserve provides a stunning display of species adaptation and survival in a harsh environment. At its eastern end, the bluff narrows and drops off into a rock-walled valley cut by a small tributary stream of Clear Creek.

Dedicated to the people of Tibet, the Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center, located on 90 acres just south of town, offers a relaxing and peaceful setting for meditation and reflection. The TMBCC was established by Indiana University Professor Emeritus Thubten J. Norbu in 1979 to acquaint people with the history and culture of Tibet and to support Tibetans everywhere.
