Canyondam is a small community located in Plumas County, California, United States. It is situated in the eastern part of the county, near the eastern shore of Lake Almanor, and is part of the Chester census-designated place (CDP). The population was 31 as of the 2010 census, down from 37 as of the 2000 census. On August 6, 2021, the community was destroyed in the Dixie Fire. | |
