Boasting beautiful views of Lake Erie, Buffalo Harbor State Park is home to a 1,000 slip marina, a restaurant, boat launches, personal watercraft launches, fish cleaning station, restrooms, and a beach for strolling and sunbathing. In addition the park is adjacent to the popular Tifft Nature Preserve.

The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens are botanical gardens located within South Park in Buffalo, New York. These gardens are the product of landscaping architect Frederick Law Olmsted, glass-house architects Lord & Burnham, and botanist and plant-explorer John F. Cowell.
