Hung Yen is a province in the Red River Deltaof northern Vietnam. It covers an area of 930.22 km2 (359.2 sq mi), comprising 1 city, 8 rural districts, and 1 district-leveled town, with a population of over 1 million people as of 2019. The province is asettlement along the banks of the Red River, bordered by 5 provinces and municipalities (Bac Ninh province, Hai Duong province, Ha  Noi, Thai Binh province, Ha  Nam province).

The Temple of Literature Xich Dang (Van mieu Xa­ch Dang), also known as Xich Dang Temple, is a historical and cultural site located in the village of Xich Dang, Lam Son Commune, Tien Lu District, Hung Yen, Vietnam. It is approximately 60 kilometers southeast of Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam.

Chua Chuong or Kim Chung tu is Chuong Pagoda's name in Chinese scripts. Chuong Pagodawas built in the Le dynasty (the 15th century) and was restored in 1707. After the restoration, Chuong Pagodahad a common architecture of Vietnamese pagodas built in the post-Le period.
