It is situated approximately 6 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles and is surrounded by the cities of Montebello, Pico Rivera, Bell Gardens, Vernon, and East Los Angeles. The population was 12,823 at the 2010 census, up from 12,568 at the 2000 census. | |
