Arvada is a city located northwest of Denver and is part of the Denver-Aurora-Lakewood metropolitan area. It is in Jefferson and Adams counties. The area that is now Arvada was first settled in the mid-19th century and was primarily an agricultural community. The city was incorporated in 1904. The city population was 124,402 in 2020.
