The Bunker of Colonel De Castries is a historic site located in Thanh Truong Ward, Dien Bien Phu City, Dien Bien Province, Vietnam. The bunker was astrategic location during the Battle of Dien Bien Phu, which was fought between French forces and the Viet Minh in 1954.
The bunker was used as the headquarters for the French army during the battle and was where Colonel De Castries, the commanding officer, made his final stand. Despite being heavily fortified, the bunker was eventually overrun by the Viet Minh, leading to the French defeat and the end of the First IndochinaWar.

Today, the bunker has been preserved as amuseum and memorial to the battle. Visitors can explore the underground chambers and tunnels, which have been restored to their original condition.
