Pristina is the capital and largest city of Kosovo, a landlocked country located in the Balkan Peninsula in southeastern Europe. It holds political, economic, and cultural significance within Kosovo and serves as its administrative center. There were 198,897 people residing in Pristina Municipality in 2011.

The fortress of Prizren is a medieval castle in Prizren in southern Kosovo. It was built on a hill above the city, under which Prizren gradually developed into a large city. The fortress was declared a Cultural Monument of Special Importance in 1948. Layers of prehistoric, Roman and late antiquity have been preserved under its walls.

The Banjska Monastery is a significant Serbian Orthodox monastery located near Zvečan in northern Kosovo. It was founded in the early 14th century by King Stefan Uroš II Milutin of Serbia as his mausoleum and is dedicated to St. Stephen. The monastery is a prime example of medieval Serbian architecture, blending elements of the Raška school and Byzantine influences.

The Serbian Orthodox Monastery Gračanica is a monastery located in Kosovo. It was built by the Serbian king Stefan Milutin in 1321. The monastery was declared a Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1990, and on 13 July 2006.

Deravica is the second-highest mountain peak in the Prokletije mountain range and the Dinaric Alps chain, after Maja Jezercë.
