The Republic of the Congo, often referred to simply as Congo-Brazzaville to distinguish it from its larger neighbor, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, is a country located in Central Africa. Its capital and largest city is Brazzaville, situated on the Congo River directly across from Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Its population was 5,677,493 in 2023.

Odzala-Kokoua National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Republic of the Congo, also known as Congo-Brazzaville. It is one of the largest and oldest national parks in the country, covering an area of over 13,500 square kilometers (5,200 square miles) in the heart of the Congo Basin rainforest.
