Kennedy Island, also known as Plum Pudding Island, is a small uninhabited island in the Solomon Islands, located in the Western Province. The island gained its name after John F. Kennedy, who during World War II was marooned on the island along with his crew after their boat was sunk by a Japanese destroyer.
