The Pabst Mansion is a historic landmark located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was once the home of Captain Frederick Pabst, a prominent figure in Milwaukee's brewing industry and the former owner of the Pabst Brewing Company.
Built in the Flemish Renaissance Revival style, the mansion is an architectural gem, featuring intricate woodwork, elegant furnishings, stained glass windows, and elaborate décor. Construction on the mansion began in 1890 and was completed in 1892.

The Pabst family lived in the mansion until 1908 when they moved to a smaller residence. Subsequently, the mansion went through various ownership changes and was eventually purchased by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee in 1908. It served as the Archbishop's residence until 1975.

In 1978, the Pabst Mansion was saved from demolition by a group of concerned citizens who formed the non-profit organization, "The Pabst Mansion, Inc." They worked diligently to restore the mansion to its former glory and opened it to the public as a museum in 1979.

Today, visitors to the Pabst Mansion can take guided tours to explore its opulent rooms, learn about the history of the Pabst family and the brewing industry in Milwaukee, and admire the craftsmanship of the architecture and furnishings.

The Pabst Mansion stands as a testament to Milwaukee's rich brewing heritage and architectural legacy, offering visitors a glimpse into the luxurious lifestyle of one of the city's most influential families.
