- Phillipsville is situated on the South Fork of the Eel River, about 5 miles south of Miranda and approximately 50 miles south of Eureka. It lies at an elevation of 289 feet (88 meters). Phillipsville was established during the logging boom in Northern California and has since become a gateway to exploring the redwood forests. |
