Jacks Peak Park is a day-use park bordering the City of Monterey, off State Highway 68. The park offers unique venues for outdoor enthusiasts and is home to one of three natural stands of Monterey Pine forests remaining in the United States.
There are approximately 8.5 miles of hiking trails, including some designated for equestrian use, winding through cathedral-like forests and rising to breathtaking ridgetop vistas; Jacks Peak Park does not allow biking on the trails.
