Douglas County is a county in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Nevada. As of the 2020 census, the population was 49,488. Its county seat is Minden.

Logan Shoals Vista Point is a scenic viewpoint located near Zephyr Cove in Nevada, on the eastern shore of Lake Tahoe. It's known for offering stunning panoramic views of the lake, surrounding mountains, and dramatic rock formations. Visitors often stop here to take in the serene beauty, especially during sunrise or sunset when the light enhances the landscape's colors.

Castle Rock offers panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. Additionally, you can see the south and west shores of Lake Tahoe.

Kahle Park offers playgrounds, ball fields in the Kingsbury, Nevada.

Captain Pomin Rock is located on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe. Its location, about half way in between the north and south end of the lake, gives it an amazing perspective of Lake Tahoe, almost 1,300’ below. The rock itself has a prominence of approximately 500’ give or take, equal to the prominence it has above US 50.

Cave Rock is considered a sacred place and the tribe has placed restrictions on recreational activities in the vicinity of the tunnel.
