Stanton is a city located in the northwestern part of Orange County, which is part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area, in Southern California. It is approximately 3 miles from the Pacific Ocean and 15 miles from downtown Anaheim. Stanton is a relatively small city in terms of land area, covering about 3.1 square miles. The population was 37,962 at the 2020 United States Census.
