| West Creek Reservation is a 350+ acre natural park surrounded by residential neighborhoods and leased to Cleveland Metroparks by the City of Parma and West Creek Conservancy. The Reservation preserves the natural character of their public parkland with its hills, valley, meadow, woodlands, and creek. The name was taken from Parma, New York, where it was probably derived from the early 19th century fascination with classical Italy. During the 19th century, Parma remained largely agricultural.
