British Columbia is a province located on the west coast of Canada. It is the third-largest province in Canada in terms of land area, and it has a population of around 5 million people.

Cypress Provincial Park is located on Cypress Mountain in West Vancouver. The park has two sections: a 21 km2 (8.1 sq mi) southern section which is accessible by road from West Vancouver, and a 9 km2 (3.5 sq mi) northern section which is only accessible by hiking trails. The two sections are linked by a narrow strip of park along the mountainous Howe Sound Crest Trail.

Cypress Mountain Viewpoint located on the second switchback of Cypress Bowl Road in West Vancouver is one of the best and most accessible places in Vancouver for panoramic views of the Lower Mainland. On a clear day, you can see across the Georgia Straight to Vancouver Island and southeast to Mount Baker in Washington State.

Lighthouse Park is approximately 75 hectares in size and a nationally significant natural park within West Vancouver. It has important natural and cultural resources and very high levels of use by local residents and tourists. The park is a biologically rich and unique resource and is an example of a remaining old growth coastal forest in the Lower Mainland.
