Bangor is a city located in Penobscot County, along the Penobscot River, in the state of Maine. It is the third-largest city in Maine by population. As of the 2020 Census, the population of Bangor was around 31,000 residents. Bangor's history and location have contributed to its role as an important economic and cultural center in the state of Maine.

Cole Land Transportation Museum preserves, and displays a cross section of Maine’s land transportation equipment from which this and future generations will gain knowledge of the past.
