Hehuanshan, also known as Hehuan Mountain, is a prominent mountain range located in Central Taiwan. The Eternal Spring Shrine was built in 1958 to commemorate the 212 workers who died during the construction of the Central Cross-Island Highway. Its unique location recessed into the side of the mountain and Tang Dynasty architectural style makes this shrine one of the most famous scenic spots in Taroko National Park.
Yushan, also known as Jade Mountain or Mount Yu, is the highest peak in Taiwan and one of the most prominent natural landmarks on the island. It is located in the Yushan National Park in the central part of Taiwan.
