Lake Võrtsjärv in southern Estonia, with an area of 270 km² and a drainage basin of 3374 km², is the second largest lake in the Baltic countries and the largest lake within Estonian territory. It is a shallow, turbid, and nutrient-rich lake, with an average depth of 2.8 m and a maximum depth of 6 m.
Lahemaa National Park is located on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland and covers Estonia's northernmost capes and islands. In the space of 725 km2, you’ll find lush native forests, wetlands stretching to the horizon, and both rocky and sandy beaches.
Soomaa National Park is located in southwestern Estonia, covering an area of about 390 square kilometers. The park was established in 1993 and is known for its diverse landscapes, including vast marshlands, meandering rivers, and primeval forests. Soomaa, which translates to Land of Bogs in Estonian, is aptly named due to its extensive bog areas.
