| Hiiumaa is the second largest island in Estonia and part of the West Estonian archipelago, located in the Baltic Sea. The island covers an area of 989 km² and is situated 22 km from the Estonian mainland. Its population was 9,558 in 2019. The largest town is Kärdla. The island is located in Hiiu County. | |
