| The Huron Harbor Lighthouse, located in Huron, Ohio, was built in 1936 and stands 72 feet tall. It marks the entrance to Huron Harbor and is constructed of steel, replacing earlier wooden structures that were destroyed by storms. The lighthouse was automated in 1972 and features a solar-powered beacon visible for 12 miles, flashing red every six seconds. | |
