| Pals is a medieval town in Catalonia, northern Spain, located a few kilometers from the sea in the heart of Emporda Bay on the Costa Brava. From afar, the outlines of the town's surrounding walls are visible, and the majestic Torre de les Hores church and tower are discernible—one of the few remaining ruins of the ancient castle and a symbol of the town.
