Concord is a city located in Contra Costa County in the eastern part of the San Francisco Bay Area, approximately 29 miles northeast of downtown San Francisco. It is centrally located within Contra Costa County. According to an estimate completed by the United States Census Bureau, the city had a population of 129,295 in 2019.
