The Headwaters Forest Reserve (Elk River Trailhead & Old Town of Falk Tour) was set aside to protect and preserve the ecology and wildlife of the area. Particularly the old-growth redwood stands that provide habitat for the threatened marbled murrelet, and the stream systems that provide habitat for threatened coho salmon.
Table Bluff County Park is a day-use only park located in Loleta, California offering great views of the beautiful coastline and the South jetty, a short walking trail and picnic tables.
