Lakeport is an incorporated city and the county seat of Lake County, California. This city is 125 miles (201 km) northwest of Sacramento. Lakeport is on the western shore of the county namesake, Clear Lake, at an elevation of 1,355 feet (413 m). The population was 5,026 at the 2020 census, up from 4,753 at the 2010 census.
Highland Springs Recreation Area is a beautiful 3,200 acre watershed managed by Lake County Water Resources. Equestrians and hikers have enjoyed the beauty and rugged terrain for over 50 years.
Edenberry Farm is a small holding, covering approximately 10 acres in Lake County, California. As of the spring of 2019, it has just under 5 acres planted with raspberries and blackberries. It also has a small, newly planted orchard of 300 fruit trees, and a market garden - all organic, of course!
