Chittenden County is the most populous county in the U.S. state of Vermont. According to the 2020 census, the county had a population of 168,323. Its capital is Burlington, Vermont's most populous city. The county accounts for more than a quarter of Vermont's population and is more than twice the population of Vermont's second most populous county, Rutland County.

Mount Philo State Park is located in Charlotte, Vermont. This 237-acre (0.96 km²) park protects the area surrounding Mount Philo (968 feet high). With spectacular views of the Lake Champlain Valley and New York's Adirondack Mountains, the park is a favorite destination for hikers and picnickers, and includes a small campground.
