Mont Bengoue is one of the highest peaks in Gabon and a notable geographic feature in the country. It is situated in the northeastern part of Gabon, within the Ivindo National Park in the Ogooue-Ivindo Province. It stands at an elevation of approximately 1,070 meters (3,510 feet) above sea level, making it one of the tallest mountains in Gabon.
Fernan Vaz Lagoon, also known as Lagune Fernan Vaz or Nkomi Lagoon, is a significant coastal lagoon in Gabon, located in the Ogooue-Maritime Province. The lagoon is situated along Gabon's Atlantic coast, approximately 20 kilometers south of the town of Omboue. It is one of the larger lagoons in Gabon, encompassing a diverse network of waterways, islands, and mangroves.
