The Pearl Cays in Nicaragua are a group of eighteen cays which can be found roughly 35 kilometers off the coast of the town of Laguna de Perlas. The Tisey-Estanzuela natural reserve is situated approximately 10 kilometers south of the city of Esteli and about 140 kilometers north of Managua in northern Nicaragua. Rated as one of the protected areas of Nicaragua due to its natural beauty and biodiversity, the reserve is a highly recommended tourist destination. This 9,344-hectare pine-forested reserve is home to over 100 species of flora and fauna.
Masaya Volcano, located near the city of Masaya in Nicaragua, is one of the country's most famous and active volcanoes. The volcano is situated within Masaya Volcano National Park, which is about 20 kilometers (12 miles) south of the capital city, Managua.
