South Hills Open Space contains several natural habitat types and 8 sensitive and rare plant species located on the property. Serpentine bunchgrass and rock outcrops, annual grasslands, wetland seeps and several ephemeral drainage systems are found on the property.
The Nipomo Native Garden is a twelve-acre site located between Pomeroy, Camino Caballo and Osage in the community of Nipomo, California. It is a native botanical garden that features the plant communities endemic to the Nipomo Mesa and Guadalupe/Nipomo Dunes.
