| El Rio is a small, unincorporated community that is situated just east of Oxnard and west of Santa Paula. The Santa Clara River runs through the area, which is where the community gets its name. The area has a mix of residential and commercial properties, including several parks, schools, and businesses. The population was 7,198 at the 2010 census. | |
