Koh Kong Island, also known as Koh Kong Koh, is a beautiful island located in the Gulf of Thailand off the southwestern coast of Cambodia, near the province of Koh Kong. It is known for its pristine beaches, clear waters, and lush tropical landscapes. It is Cambodia's largest island.
Koh Kong Province is a province of Cambodia. Its population was 140,962 in 2024. Its capital is Khemarak Phoumin, its population was 28,836 in 2019. The most southwestern province of Cambodia, Koh Kong has a long undeveloped coastline and a mountainous, forested, and largely inaccessible interior which includes part of the Cardamom Mountains.
