The Immaculate Conception Cathedral is located in the center of the capital city of the Independent State of Samoa, Apia. It is the Seat of the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Samoa-Apia. The congregation follows the Roman or Latin rite and is the mother church of the Archdiocese of Samoa–Apia, which was created in 1966 by Pope Paul VI through the bull "Prophetarum voes".
