Forest Falls is a small unincorporated community located in San Bernardino County, California, United States. It is situated in the San Bernardino National Forest, approximately 25 miles northeast of the city of San Bernardino, and has a population of around 1,000 people.
Falls Picnic Area is located in a pine/cedar forest just above the community of Forest Falls. Forest Falls is one of the key gateways to the Sand to Snow National Monument and home to the original trail into the San Gorgonio Wilderness.
The Vivian Creek Trail is the shortest and the steepest route to the summit of Mt. San Gorgonio, located in the San Gorgonio Wilderness Area. There are three designated wilderness campsites on this trail, one of them is Vivian Creek Camp at 7,100'. The summit of San Gorgonio (11,499') is 3 miles beyond High Creek, which you can also camp at.
