Burney Falls is a waterfall located in McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park in Shasta County, California, United States. The falls are approximately 129 feet high and are fed by underground springs that flow at a rate of 100 million gallons per day, making it one of the most beautiful waterfalls in California.
McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park's centerpiece is the 129-foot Burney Falls, which is not the highest or largest waterfall in the state, but possibly the most beautiful. Additional water comes from springs, joining to create a mist-filled basin.
The campgrounds in the McArthur Burney Falls Memorial State Park are Rim Camp and Pioneer Camp. They are located next to each other. The campgrounds have cabins, tenting, and RV camp spots. Hike/bike camp spots are also available. RV's up to 32 feet can be accommodated.
