Bethel Island is a small island located in Contra Costa County, California, in the San Francisco Bay Delta. It is situated east of San Francisco and Oakland, and south of Antioch. Bethel Island is connected to the mainland by two bridges: the original 1927 Bethel Island Bridge and the newer 2003 Bethel Island Road Bridge.
