Chợ nổi Cái Răng, also known as Cai Rang Floating Market, is located on Cai Rang river, it's about 6km from Can Tho City. Visitors can take aboat from Ninh Kieu Wharf and it takes 30 minutes to get there.
Looking over from the wharf, a turning point of Can Tho and Hau rivers becomes visible. The other bank is situated the fishermen village. The Ninh Kieu wharf (Bến Ninh Kiều) concentrates cage houses of Can Tho market. It is a regional large market taking first function since 1909.
