The Shafter Depot Museum is a historic museum located in the town of Shafter, which is located in Kern County, California. Shafter is in the southern part of the San Joaquin Valley, not far from the city of Bakersfield. This museum is housed in a former Southern Pacific Railroad depot and showcases the history and heritage of Shafter and the surrounding area.
The Minter Field Air Museum houses artifacts and photographs of the men and women who were stationed here as well as other military eras. Artifacts include military uniforms, radio equipment, a Link Trainer and a Norden Bomb Sight.
