Caspar Headlands State Beach has miles of undeveloped beach adjacent to the headlands and a panoramic ocean view. The beach is a good place to watch for migrating gray whales. Fishing is also popular off the beach.
Caspar is an unincorporated community in Mendocino County, on the north coast of California. The population was 500 at the 2020 census. Caspar's cluster of houses huddles together for protection from the storms and big ocean.
