Coto De Caza is a census-designated place and guard-gated affluent private community in Orange County, California. Coto de Caza is situated in the southeastern part of Orange County, bordered by the cities of Rancho Santa Margarita, San Juan Capistrano, and Ladera Ranch. It is nestled in the foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains, providing a picturesque natural setting. The population was 14,799 at the 2017 census.
