Granite Bay is a census-designated place in Placer County, California. The population was 21,247 at the 2020 census. It is situated on the north shore of Folsom Lake about 25 miles northeast of Sacramento on the eastern edge of the Sacramento Valley at the base of the Sierra foothills.
