Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve is a state park of California in the United States established to preserve 805 acres of coast redwoods. The reserve is located in Sonoma County, just north of Guerneville.
Nestled in an ancient redwood grove 2 miles East of Guerneville, along the Russian River, is a special place, a place where time stands still, a place where memories are made, a place where families come to relax and forget about the chaos of modern life. That place is Schoolhouse Canyon Campground.
A Russian River tradition for nearly a century, Johnson’s Beach is a favorite summer spot for Sonoma County locals and visitors alike. Sunning, swimming and floating at our Guerneville beach is as much a Sonoma County pastime as wine tasting and strolling through the redwoods.
Russian River Art Gallery is a co-operative art gallery showing and selling distinctive, creative art from the Resident Member Artists as well as beautiful, diverse art from the Consignment Artists.
Nine miles from the ocean, in a saddle between two ridge tops sits Porter-Bass Vineyard & Winery. The Russian River gently forms an oxbow around these ridges allowing the fog to drift to the foot of the vineyard, cooling the vines in the summer.
